The Costa del Sol situated within the Andalucian region, is located in the south of Spain and offers more than 160km of coastline with a succession of beaches varying in length from soft sand and seafront promenades to quiet coves and beautiful scenery.

Calahonda is located centrally between Marbella and Fuengirola, only a 25 minute drive from Malaga airport and ten minutes from the centre of Marbella. Made up of mostly low-rise apartment blocks, villas and townhouses, from the coast into the hills, Calahonda encompasses both coastal and rural life.

The Costa del Sol is an ideal holiday destination for visitors wishing to see the historical beauty of Southern Spain. There are regular coach tour excursions visiting historical cities such as Granada, Cadiz, Ronda and Gibraltar, all varying in distance with the maximum journey being a three hour drive.

As well as offering activities such as watersports, golf, cycling, horseriding and hiking, the Costa del Sol has many theme parks, go-karting, crazy golf, safari parks and beautiful public gardens to visit. All within a short drive away is Selwo Aventura, Selwo Marina, Tivoli World, Parque Acuatico Mijas, Sealife Centre and Fuengirola Zoo.
